Valvoline elects two new members to its board of directors

Valvoline Inc. (NYSE: VVV) has elected Katherine Fogertey and Scott Mezvinsky to its board of directors, effective July 22, 2026, according to a company statement.



Fogertey most recently served as chief financial officer of Shake Shack Inc. (NYSE: SHAK) and previously spent nearly 16 years at Goldman Sachs, where she held the role of vice president in global investment research as the lead equity analyst covering the U.S. restaurant industry. She has been appointed to serve on the board's audit committee.



Mezvinsky currently serves as chief executive officer of the KFC division of Yum! Brands Inc. (NYSE: YUM), overseeing more than 30,000 restaurants across 150 countries. He joined Yum! Brands in 2004 and has previously held roles including president of Taco Bell North America and International. He has been appointed to the board's governance and nominating committee.



Richard J. Freeland, chairman of the board, cited Fogertey's financial and data analytics background and Mezvinsky's experience scaling franchise networks as factors in their selection.



Valvoline operates more than 2,400 franchised and company-operated service centers across the United States and Canada.
