Abivax names four commercial leaders ahead of planned NDA filing

Abivax SA (Nasdaq: ABVX) has appointed four executives to its commercial leadership team as the company prepares for a potential U.S. commercialization of its drug candidate obefazimod, with a New Drug Application submission to the FDA planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.
According to a company statement, the four appointments are:
James Berger as Global Head of Marketing. Berger previously served as Global Franchise Head for TEZSPIRE at Amgen and spent more than a decade at Takeda working on ENTYVIO. He also held roles at Merck and Bristol Myers Squibb.
Ivan Nuñez-Pacheco as Global Head of Patient Services. Nuñez-Pacheco previously served as Senior Director of AbbVie Patient Services, where he oversaw patient support for HUMIRA, SKYRIZI, and RINVOQ.
Heather Dean as Global Head of Sales, Accounts and Commercial Operations. Dean held roles at Eli Lilly and Takeda, where she led commercial teams for ENTYVIO in ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease and later served as Senior Vice President of the Neuroscience Business Unit.
Jeff Haas as Global Head of Market Access and Pricing. Haas previously served as Corporate Vice President at Abbott Laboratories and held senior roles at AbbVie, including leading market access and pricing strategy for the launch of HUMIRA.
Obefazimod is currently in Phase 3 clinical trials for moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis. Abivax is based in France and the United States.
