Boeing to display aircraft and host STEM events at EAA AirVenture

Boeing (NYSE: BA) will participate in EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in Wisconsin, running July 20-26, with displays of commercial and military aircraft, panel discussions, and youth outreach activities.

The event is expected to draw more than 10,000 aircraft and approximately 700,000 visitors from more than 90 countries. Boeing's on-site display, called Boeing Plaza, will feature the 737-800, 737-BBJ, 777-300, P-8, F/A-18, F-15, MV-22 and B-52 aircraft.

Planned activities include a Freedom Plane flyover tied to America's 250th anniversary, a historical walk covering Boeing's role in U.S. aerospace history, KidVenture events aimed at encouraging students to pursue aviation and STEM careers, and a mobile interactive safety learning center called the Safety Dojo on-the-go.

Boeing's pavilion will host a theater where company leaders will present sessions, videos, and panel discussions, including a media briefing on Boeing's annual Pilot and Technician Outlook. A Boeing Store offering event-exclusive merchandise will also be on site.

"The event gives Boeing a chance to share our work, hear from customers and connect with the next generation of aviation professionals," said Chris Broom, vice president of Commercial Training Solutions at Boeing Global Services.

As part of its show sponsorship, Boeing provides free admission to attendees 18 and younger. According to the company's press release, nearly 500,000 youth have attended the event under this arrangement since 2019.
