Energy Vault Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: NRGV) has appointed Nitin Dahiya, CFA, as Chief Financial Officer, according to a press release. Dahiya is set to formally begin the role on July 27, 2026.
Dahiya joins from BlackRock, where he served as Senior Portfolio Manager and Investment Committee member of the firm's Direct Private Opportunities group, leading structured financing transactions across energy, infrastructure, private credit and specialty finance. BlackRock manages approximately $15.3 trillion in assets under management.
Over a career spanning more than two decades, Dahiya has held senior roles at BlackRock, Paulson & Co., KLS Diversified Asset Management, Nomura, and Lehman Brothers/Barclays.
As part of the transition, current CFO Michael Beer will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
The appointment follows several recent business developments for Energy Vault, including multi-GWh independent power producer project activity in Australia, an 850MW IPP portfolio acquisition in Japan, and AI compute infrastructure project wins in the United States.
Robert Piconi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Energy Vault, said Dahiya "brings an exceptional combination of institutional investment expertise, strategic financial leadership and capital markets experience gained at some of the world's most respected financial firms."
Energy Vault said it plans to discuss increases in its Q2 2026 contract backlog and its financial outlook for 2026 at an earnings call scheduled for August 11.
