RadioMedix, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on targeted radiopharmaceuticals, announced the appointment of Brian A. Markison to its board of directors, effective July 1, 2026, according to a press release.
Markison brings more than 40 years of pharmaceutical and radiopharmaceutical industry experience to the Houston-based company. He previously served as chief executive officer and director of Lantheus Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: LNTH), a radiopharmaceutical company.
Earlier in his career, Markison served as chairman and CEO of RVL Pharmaceuticals plc, formerly known as Osmotica Pharmaceuticals. He also led Fougera Pharmaceuticals Inc. as president, CEO, and board member, guiding the company through its sale to Sandoz Ltd., the generics division of Novartis AG. He served as chairman and CEO of King Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which was later acquired by Pfizer Inc.
Markison began his career at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he held senior leadership roles over a 22-year tenure across oncology, virology, neuroscience, infectious disease, dermatology, and business development. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Iona College.
Ebrahim S. Delpassand, M.D., founder and CEO of RadioMedix, said Markison's background in commercial strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance would support the company's pipeline and manufacturing infrastructure development.
Markison commented: "I have spent my career watching the radiopharmaceutical field grow, and RadioMedix is one of the most exciting companies that has contributed to that growth."
RadioMedix states it has received two FDA approvals for diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals and completed three licensing deals. Its manufacturing facility, the SPICA Center, received FDA approval as a cGMP manufacturing site in March 2026.
