Faraday Future launches robotics summer camps with LA school districts

July 15, 2026 2:13 AM EDT

Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) has launched a series of robotics summer camps in partnership with two Los Angeles-area public school districts, according to a company press release.

The program, called FF Nexus Academy, involves students from Lynwood Unified School District and El Segundo Unified School District. The camps consist of three one-week sessions and are held at FF's headquarters in El Segundo. FF has also signed memorandums of understanding with both districts to advance K–12 robotics education, along with a formal cooperation agreement with Lynwood Unified for the summer camp program.

Students work with FF's robotics fleet during the sessions, which includes four platforms: Navi, a quadruped robot students build and personalize; Aegis, an industrial-grade quadruped; Master, a bipedal humanoid robot; and Futurist, a data platform that captures and trains on students' movements.

The five-day curriculum covers topics including coding, 3D modeling, Python programming, autonomous navigation, kinematics, machine learning, and data analytics. On the final day, students analyze performance data they collected throughout the week before an awards ceremony.

FF has also launched a collaboration with Triple I, described as a U.S. full-service education institution, to provide support across products, technology, and curriculum content.

"This interactive FF robotics camp with local high school students at our HQ is designed to give students a credible, hands-on introduction to the field of autonomous robotics — not as an abstraction, but as a full week of real engineering work on real machines," said Chris Chen, Co-CEO of FF AI-Robotics at FF.

The company stated it aims to build what it describes as a scaled embodied AI education ecosystem in the United States, targeting both institutional and consumer markets. FF's forward-looking disclosures note several material risks, including the company's ability to continue as a going concern and its current lack of sufficient share capital to meet existing obligations.
