Boeing to display MQ-28 Ghost Bat for first time at Farnborough

Boeing (NYSE: BA) will participate in the Farnborough International Airshow, taking place July 20–25 in the United Kingdom, where it will display commercial and defense products including the MQ-28 Ghost Bat uncrewed aircraft making its Farnborough debut.

The MQ-28 Ghost Bat, a collaborative combat aircraft designed to perform surveillance, electronic warfare and force multiplication roles alongside crewed aircraft, will appear on static display for the first time at the airshow.

Boeing's exhibit (C-620) will include a full-size 777X interior cabin section and a T-7 flight deck simulator. A second T-7 simulator will be available at BAE's Pavilion in Hall 5. Additional static displays include a U.S. Army CH-47F Chinook and a UK Joint Aviation Command CH-47 Chinook.

Boeing Chief Executive Kelly Ortberg said in a statement: "At Farnborough, we look forward to reconnecting with our customers and suppliers, and strengthening our international partnerships — including Boeing's more than 85-year commitment to the United Kingdom."

Boeing leaders are scheduled to participate in several panel discussions during the show. On July 20, Vice President of Global Enterprise Sustainability Allison Melia will speak on financing sustainable aviation fuel. On July 21, Vice President of Parts & Distribution William Ampofo II will address supply chain topics. On July 22, Chief Technology Officer Lane Ballard will join a CTO panel discussion.

Media briefings are scheduled for July 21, including an MQ-28 Ghost Bat briefing and a commercial market update. A P-8 Poseidon briefing is scheduled for July 22, featuring the Commanding Officer of German Naval Aviation.

The exhibit will also feature the Boeing Cascade Climate Impact Model, described as a data-modeling tool that evaluates pathways for reducing aviation's environmental footprint.
