Investing.com -- Iran's top negotiator Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said Friday that Tehran stands ready for "all-out defence" if Washington betrays last month's memorandum of understanding.
Qalibaf made the remarks during a meeting with Ahmad Muzani, speaker of Indonesia's People's Consultative Assembly. He stated that the recent conflict will never end with Iran's surrender.
The negotiator said he told the U.S. vice president during negotiations that Tehran does not trust Washington. Qalibaf added that in his view, only those prepared for war can negotiate with the United States.
The comments were posted on Qalibaf's Telegram account.
