DXC Technology completes cloud migration of 400,000 Wilton Re policies

DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) announced the completion of a cloud migration program for Wilton Re, moving more than 400,000 life and annuity policies from prior DXC systems onto its cloud-based insurance policy administration platform, known as the Wealth Management Accelerator.

The migration consolidates Wilton Re's policy portfolio onto a single platform, which the companies said is intended to support faster integration of future acquisitions and provide a foundation for AI-enabled workflow capabilities. DXC handles core insurance functions for Wilton Re including policy administration, claims processing, and customer service.

The two companies have maintained a partnership since 2005, during which Wilton Re's policy count grew from approximately 5,000 to more than 500,000. Over that period, DXC has completed 27 legacy system conversions for Wilton Re.

"This transformation helps Wilton Re grow its business, integrate acquisitions faster, operate more efficiently, and deliver a better experience for policyholders," said Ray August, President of DXC Insurance Software and Business Process Services.

Enrico Treglia, Senior Advisor at Wilton Re, said DXC "play a critical role in our day-to-day operations, from policy administration and customer service to key financial processes."

DXC states it administers more than 13 million policies and contracts globally and has completed more than 200 legacy system conversions. According to the company, it serves 21 of the top 25 insurers worldwide.
