LM Funding mines 8.7 Bitcoin in June amid heat-related efficiency drop

LM Funding America, Inc. (Nasdaq: LMFA) reported preliminary, unaudited Bitcoin mining results for June 2026, with net production of 8.7 Bitcoin, down from 9.8 Bitcoin in May 2026, according to a press release from the Tampa, Florida-based company.
Chief Executive Officer Bruce Rodgers attributed the decline to higher temperatures during the month. "June delivered monthly production of 8.7 Bitcoin reflecting higher temperatures during the month which effected efficiencies," Rodgers said, adding that the company captured approximately $30,000 in curtailment and energy-sales revenue for June and estimated total second-quarter energy-sales revenue of approximately $117,000.
The company sold 13.1 Bitcoin during June, compared to 21.1 Bitcoin sold in May. No Bitcoin was purchased in either month. As of June 30, 2026, LM Funding held 318.3 Bitcoin, down from 322.7 Bitcoin at the end of May. The holdings include 174 BTC held by Galaxy for a loan facility.
Based on a Bitcoin price of approximately $58,600 as of June 30, 2026, the company valued its Bitcoin treasury at approximately $18.6 million, or $0.72 per share, compared to a stock price of $0.15 at the same date. The company noted that as of July 7, 2026, the value of its holdings had increased to approximately $20.4 million, or $0.79 per share, based on a Bitcoin price of $64,000.
The per-share calculation is based on 25,928,535 diluted shares outstanding as of June 30, 2026, which includes approximately 4,398,250 shares issued under an at-the-market offering in June 2026.
LM Funding operates 26 megawatts of wholly-owned power infrastructure across facilities in Oklahoma and Mississippi.
