Frankfurt International Bank AG (FIB), a newly licensed German bank specializing in export finance, has selected FIS to provide its treasury and risk management platform, according to a press release from FIS.
FIB has deployed FIS Treasury & Risk Manager – Quantum Cloud Edition, a cloud-native software-as-a-service platform offering front-to-back treasury coverage. The bank completed the initial implementation in 10 weeks and is already live with the first phase of the solution. ALM Partners served as the implementation partner, while Magpie acted as FIB's external consultant on the project.
FIB is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main and focuses on export finance and cross-border banking services for internationally active clients.
Florian Pointner, Head of Treasury at FIB, said: "When establishing our treasury operations, we were deliberate about the infrastructure choices we made from the outset. For a bank built around export finance and complex cross-border transactions, operational resilience and governance are not optional, they are fundamental."
FIS (NYSE: FIS), headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, is a member of the Fortune 500 and the S&P 500 Index. The company provides financial technology solutions to financial institutions and businesses globally.
