Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ: PLTR) announced an enterprise expansion agreement with GNP Seguros (Grupo Nacional Provincial), Mexico's largest insurer and a member of the Grupo BAL consortium, according to a company press release.
Under the agreement, GNP Seguros will expand its use of Palantir's Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) across its health, life, auto, and damage insurance portfolios. Palantir said GNP Seguros had already deployed the platforms in targeted use cases, including claims fraud detection, risk monitoring, and underwriting improvement.
The expanded deployment is intended to consolidate claims, underwriting, operations, and risk data into a single platform. Stated capabilities include identifying anomalous claims patterns, flagging potential fraud before payments are processed, surfacing risk insights, and testing underwriting changes in near real time.
Palantir described GNP Seguros as its first publicly announced commercial customer in Latin America. Eduardo Esteve, Palantir's Vice President for Latin America, said the technology would support "AI-driven decision-making and agentic operations across its business."
Enrique Ibarra, GNP Seguros' Director of Information and Transformation, said the integration of Foundry and AIP is "a natural step" in the company's digital strategy, citing the ability to generate and act on insights quickly under a governance model.
