Xcel Brands signs KBL Group as production partner for Coco Rocha label

Xcel Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ: XELB) announced a licensing agreement with KBL Group to serve as the production partner for OFF/DUTY by Coco Rocha, a fashion and accessories brand developed in collaboration with supermodel Coco Rocha.
Under the agreement, KBL Group will handle sourcing, product development, manufacturing, and supply chain management for the brand's ready-to-wear collections. The partnership is intended to support distribution of the brand across multiple retail channels.
Robert W. D'Loren, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Xcel Brands, said in a statement that having a partner capable of executing the brand's vision "with the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship is critical."
David Guisinger, Chief Executive Officer of KBL Group, said the company aims to bring "a modern approach to dressing that is both aspirational and accessible" through the partnership.
KBL Group, founded in 1985, operates with offices in New York and Hong Kong and focuses on fashion brand development and sourcing. Xcel Brands is a New York-based media and consumer products company that also holds brands including Halston and Tower Hill by Christie Brinkley.
