SuperCom wins electronic monitoring contract in Michigan

SuperCom (NASDAQ: SPCB) announced it has secured an electronic monitoring contract in Michigan, marking the company's entry into its 18th new U.S. state since mid-2024, according to a press release.

The county-level contract is with a county's pre-trial and work release division and uses SuperCom's PureOne GPS technology to support offender supervision. The contract displaces a provider that had held the position for more than 10 years. Training and deployment are expected to begin within the coming month.

The contract was awarded following a two-week live evaluation process in which SuperCom's technology was assessed against existing solutions. The agreement follows a recurring revenue model based on daily active units.

"Michigan is our 18th new U.S. state since mid-2024. Over this period, we have secured more than 40 new contracts and established 17 new service provider partnerships across the country," said Ordan Trabelsi, President and CEO of SuperCom.

Trabelsi cited trailing twelve-month EBITDA of $10.3 million as part of the company's financial foundation supporting its expansion in the U.S. and Europe.
