22nd Century Group loses Smoker Friendly manufacturing contract

22nd Century Group (NASDAQ: XXII) received a 180-day termination notice from Smoker Friendly International, LLC on July 1, 2026, according to a press release statement.

The notice was issued in connection with a Master Services Agreement dated January 1, 2025. Upon expiration of the 180-day period, 22nd Century Group will no longer manufacture cigarette and cigar products for Smoker Friendly International.

The termination was submitted under a termination for convenience clause in the agreement. The company said it will not incur any early termination penalties as a result of the contract end.
