Dynatrace (NYSE: DT) announced its intent to pursue FedRAMP High authorization and expanded government security standards, building on its existing FedRAMP Moderate-Impact Authorization, which the company obtained in 2020.
The Boston-based company said it plans to align its platform with FedRAMP High, Department of Defense, and other government security and compliance requirements. Dynatrace said it is engaging with customers and partners to develop future platform capabilities suited to federal and public sector needs.
According to the press release, Dynatrace's target customers for this effort include U.S. federal agencies, state and local government agencies, defense and intelligence organizations, and global public sector customers operating in high-security environments.
"Federal agencies have been running mission-critical workloads on Dynatrace since our FedRAMP Moderate authorization in 2020 – that's the foundation this announcement builds from," said Steve Tack, CPO of Dynatrace.
Willie Hicks, Global Public Sector CTO at Dynatrace, said the goal is to offer a platform that can scale with agencies as security requirements evolve, without requiring customers to redesign their systems or change vendors.
Dynatrace said its government portfolio is designed around customer and partner-managed deployment within agency-defined operational boundaries. The company's Grail data lakehouse architecture is cited as part of the technical foundation for supporting regulated environments. No timeline for achieving FedRAMP High authorization was specified in the announcement.
