Investing.com -- Tesla's China-made electric vehicle sales increased for the eighth consecutive month in June, driven by continued recovery in the company's European sales.
Deliveries of Model 3 and Model Y vehicles from the Shanghai plant reached 89,091 units last month, marking a 24.4% increase from the same period last year, according to data released Thursday by the China Passenger Car Association.
The June gain followed a 39.4% rise in May.
Tesla's Shanghai facility serves as both a production site for the Chinese market and an export hub for Europe.
