July 1, 2026 4:30 PM EDT

Granite (NYSE: GVA) announced that Keystone Bridge Partners, a joint venture led by Granite and Condon-Johnson & Associates, Inc., has been selected by the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County to provide preconstruction services for the Keystone Avenue Bridge Replacement Project in Reno, Nevada.

The project will be delivered using the Construction Manager at Risk method. The Keystone Avenue Bridge, built in 1966, spans the Truckee River and has been identified as structurally deficient. The replacement project will include demolition of the existing bridge and construction of a new multi-span steel beam girder structure, along with reconstructed approaches, retaining walls, drainage improvements, utility relocations, and a new multi-use path connecting to Vine Street.

The preconstruction phase is scheduled to run from the second quarter of 2026 through the first quarter of 2028, with major construction expected from the second quarter of 2028 through the third quarter of 2029. If the construction phase is awarded, its anticipated value will range from $50 million to $60 million.
