First Horizon Bank names Jason Triplett Western NC area president

First Horizon Bank (NYSE: FHN) has appointed Jason Triplett as Western North Carolina Area President within its Mid-Atlantic Region, according to a company statement.

Triplett, who previously served as Head of Commercial Banking, will report to Laura Bunn, Mid-Atlantic Regional President. His responsibilities include leading community banking and overseeing associate and community engagement across Western North Carolina, covering markets that include Asheville, Boone, Hickory, and Lenoir.

Triplett currently serves on the Board of Advisors for Appalachian State University's Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance, on the Board of Directors of the NC Housing Finance Agency, and as a member of the Boone Chamber Advocacy Task Force.

First Horizon Corp., headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, reported $84.1 billion in assets as of March 31, 2026. The company's banking subsidiary operates in 12 states, primarily in the southern United States.
