Concentra (NYSE: CON) announced that Tanner Newton, currently senior vice president of strategy and finance, will become executive vice president and chief financial officer effective Nov. 1, 2026.

Newton's appointment is part of a multiyear leadership succession plan previously announced by Concentra and unanimously approved by its board of directors. He will continue to report to Matt DiCanio, who currently serves as president and CFO and will transition to president and chief executive officer on the same date.

In his new role, Newton will oversee accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, capital markets, corporate development, and investor relations.

Newton joined Concentra in January 2025. Before that, he spent more than a decade in private equity and investment banking. He holds a Master of Science in finance and bachelor's degrees in accounting and business honors from Texas A&M University.

"Tanner's appointment reflects the strength of Concentra's leadership bench and the thoughtful succession planning underway across the company," DiCanio said in a statement.

Concentra operates 633 occupational health centers and 415 onsite health clinics across 46 states and the District of Columbia, serving approximately 54,000 patients each business day as of June 30, 2026.
