Bridgeline Digital closes AI search deal in 14 days with B2B distributor

Bridgeline Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLIN) announced that a U.S.-based wholesale distributor of pet, farm, garden, and home products has selected its HawkSearch platform to power product discovery within a BigCommerce ecommerce environment.

According to a company statement, the distributor manages a catalog of approximately 25,500 products and variants, handling more than 450,000 monthly sessions and over 310,000 page views. The customer's existing keyword-based search had struggled to deliver relevant results and lacked support for customer-specific entitlements, dynamic pricing, and personalization.

Bridgeline said the deal progressed from evaluation to signed agreement in 14 days, which the company described as a record for its sales cycle. The company entered the competitive evaluation process later than other vendors.

HawkSearch is expected to provide relevance-driven search, entitlements-based product visibility, dynamic merchandising tools, unit-of-measure normalization, and advanced faceting and filtering capabilities for the distributor's B2B platform.
