Montage Gold adds two directors at annual shareholder meeting
Montage Gold Corp. (TSX: MAU, OTCQX: MAUTF) said shareholders approved all resolutions at its annual general meeting, including the appointment of William Lundin and Teitur Poulsen as non-executive directors.
A total of 248,996,130 common shares were voted at the meeting, representing 61.75% of outstanding shares. Both Lundin and Poulsen were elected with approximately 83.54% and 100% of votes in favor, respectively.
Lundin is president and chief executive officer of International Petroleum Corporation (TSX: IPCO). He will join Montage's Technical and ESG Committee. Poulsen serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Lundin Mining Corporation (TSX: LUN) and will join both the Audit Committee and the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.
The two appointments follow the departures of Richard Clark and David Field from the board. Following the changes, Montage's board comprises seven members: Ron Hochstein (chair), Alessandro Bitelli, Anu Dhir, Jeremy Langford, William Lundin, Teitur Poulsen, and Martino De Ciccio, who serves as chief executive officer.
Shareholders also approved setting the number of directors at seven, receiving nearly 100% of votes in favor, and reappointed the company's auditor with 100% approval.
