NeoGenomics adds former Flatiron Health CEO to its board

NeoGenomics, Inc. (NASDAQ: NEO) has appointed Carolyn Starrett to its Board of Directors, the cancer diagnostics company announced in a press release.



Starrett brings more than 25 years of experience at data and technology companies. She spent a decade at Flatiron Health, serving in various executive roles before leading the company as CEO and Board Director from April 2021 to September 2025. She also served as a Board Director at Foundation Medicine from 2021 to 2024.



Starrett currently serves as President of Starrett Advisory, an independent consulting and strategic advisory firm focused on healthcare delivery, drug development, data, and artificial intelligence. Prior to Flatiron Health, she held leadership roles at a predictive analytics company and worked as a principal with Boston Consulting Group. She holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree from Brown University.



Lynn Tetrault, Chair of the NeoGenomics Board, said Starrett's "experience using real-world data and analytics to help accelerate improvements in cancer care and treatment will serve us well as we continue to expand our portfolio and impact for cancer patients."



NeoGenomics operates CAP-accredited and CLIA-certified laboratories across the United States, as well as a CAP-accredited laboratory in Cambridge, England.
