Schneider National, Inc. (NYSE: SNDR) has appointed Austin Ramirez to its Board of Directors, the transportation and logistics company announced. Ramirez joined the board in April 2026 and serves on the audit committee.
Ramirez is CEO of Husco, a Wisconsin-based engineering and manufacturing company that produces hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems for automotive and off-highway applications. According to the company's press release, Husco has grown to more than $600 million in global sales under his leadership.
Earlier in his career, Ramirez worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, focusing on corporate finance and industrial operations. He also served as a White House Fellow on the National Economic Council, where he contributed to policy initiatives related to manufacturing, infrastructure and emerging technologies.
Ramirez holds a bachelor's degree in systems engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Stanford University.
"Austin's chief executive background and manufacturing operations expertise is complemented by a strong understanding of industrial ecosystems," said Schneider President and CEO Mark Rourke.
