GXO renews frozen logistics contract with Carrefour in Belgium

GXO Logistics, Inc. (NYSE: GXO) announced the renewal of its partnership with Carrefour for frozen supply chain operations in Belgium and Luxembourg, according to a press release issued June 24, 2026.

The two companies have maintained a working relationship for nearly 50 years. Under the renewed agreement, GXO will continue to operate from its 43,720-square-meter frozen logistics facility in Zellik, Belgium, which includes 23,000 square meters of mezzanine space.

GXO uses a fleet of 40 trucks from the Zellik site to supply more than 700 Carrefour stores across Belgium and Luxembourg. The facility uses automated high-bay pallet storage and a shuttle system to support order picking and distribution.

"Our shared history and deep operational understanding allow us to continuously optimize performance and deliver best-in-class service across the region."

Tanguy t'Serstevens, director of Supply Chain at Carrefour Belgium, cited the company's location and transport fleet as factors in the renewal. "GXO's central location in Belgium, combined with their high-quality transport fleet and proven expertise, make them a reliable partner in supporting our mission to provide customers with efficient and sustainable service," he said.
