VinFast has made its VF 8 electric SUV available across the United States, with the base Eco trim priced at $39,900 and the Plus trim starting at $44,900, according to a company press release.
The Vietnamese automaker is offering 0% APR financing for up to 84 months alongside $4,100 in retail bonus cash for eligible buyers. Lease options are also available.
The VF 8 sits in the D-SUV segment and is built on a 116.1-inch wheelbase. The cabin features double-layer glass and acoustic insulation. The vehicle's driver assistance systems include Adaptive Cruise Control, Highway Assist, Lane Centering Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Intelligent Speed Adaptation. A head-up display and voice-controlled virtual assistant are also included.
VinFast, which is still expanding its presence in the U.S. market, positions the VF 8 as a family-oriented electric SUV competing in an increasingly crowded segment.
