EVTV merger partner AZIO AI adds Andreessen Horowitz advisor

June 16, 2026 6:32 AM EDT

Envirotech Vehicles, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVTV) announced that AZIO AI Corporation, its merger partner under a previously announced definitive agreement, has added Andrew Omori to its advisory team.

Omori serves as Partner and Head of Fund Strategy at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). The press release notes he will act in an independent personal advisory capacity to AZIO AI, and his participation does not represent Andreessen Horowitz or constitute an endorsement by the firm or any of its portfolio companies.

Omori brings experience in technology investment banking, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and AI-enabled operational systems. At Andreessen Horowitz, he leads the firm's Fund Strategy function, covering capital allocation, financial modeling, and operational analytics.

EVTV said it has identified approximately 11 MW of currently available power capacity at its South Texas operations and is evaluating opportunities tied to up to approximately 500 MW of additional power capacity that could support future AI hyperscale data center and compute hosting initiatives.

"Artificial intelligence is creating one of the largest infrastructure buildouts in modern history," said Chris Young, adding that the combined platform is preparing for its next phase of growth as demand for AI infrastructure continues to grow.

The merger between EVTV and AZIO AI remains subject to stockholder approval and other closing conditions, including SEC review of a Registration Statement on Form S-4.
