Old Republic International Corporation (NYSE: ORI) announced leadership changes at its BITCO Insurance Companies subsidiary, effective April 1, 2026. Meyer Lehman will assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer, while current CEO Vince Lamb will transition to Executive Chairman.
The announcement was made by Craig Smiddy, Old Republic International's President and Chief Executive Officer, according to a company statement. Smiddy described the transition as part of succession planning designed to maintain continuity while utilizing Lamb's institutional knowledge.
Old Republic International, founded in 1923, operates as a specialty insurer with property and casualty and title insurance companies across the United States and Canada. The company is a Fortune 500 member that provides underwriting and risk management services through specialized operating subsidiaries.
The leadership transition represents a planned succession at BITCO Insurance Companies, one of Old Republic's operating units. Lehman's appointment follows what the company characterizes as a systematic approach to leadership development within the organization.
