Bitmine reports total holdings of $11.5 billion in crypto and cash

Bitmine Immersion Technologies Inc. (NYSE AMERICAN: BMNR) announced its cryptocurrency and cash holdings totaled $11.5 billion as of March 15, according to a company statement.
The company reported holding 4.596 million Ethereum tokens valued at $2,185 each, representing 3.81% of the total ETH supply. Bitmine has 3.04 million ETH staked, worth $6.6 billion at current prices. The company also holds 196 Bitcoin, $1.2 billion in cash, and investments in other ventures including $200 million in Beast Industries and $83 million in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS).
Bitmine acquired 5,000 ETH from the Ethereum Foundation to help fund the foundation's operations. The company increased its weekly ETH purchases to 60,999 tokens compared to its recent average of 45,000 to 50,000 weekly acquisitions.
The company expanded its investment in Eightco by $80 million. Eightco acquired a $50 million equity stake in OpenAI and a $25 million stake in Beast Industries, according to the statement.
Bitmine's staked ETH generates approximately $180 million in annualized staking revenues based on current yields. The company plans to launch its MAVAN staking infrastructure in the first quarter of 2026.
According to Fundstrat data, Bitmine stock trades an average daily volume of $1.0 billion, ranking it 105th among US-listed stocks by trading volume. The company is backed by institutional investors including ARK Invest, Founders Fund, and Pantera Capital.
