Mainz Biomed appoints Robert Liscouski as chairman, changes name to Quantum Cyber

Mainz Biomed N.V. (NASDAQ: MYNZ) announced the appointment of Robert P. Liscouski as Chairman of its Board of Directors. The molecular genetics diagnostic company also said it plans to change its name to Quantum Cyber and its Nasdaq ticker symbol to QUCY, beginning March 12, 2026.
The permanent election of Liscouski and the name change will become effective at the company's extraordinary general meeting planned for April 2026. The company will begin doing business as Quantum Cyber and trading under the symbol QUCY starting March 12, 2026.
Liscouski was appointed by President George W. Bush as the first Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection when the U.S. Department of Homeland Security was founded in 2003. During his tenure, he was responsible for the design and development of the Office of Infrastructure Protection, integrating units from the FBI, Department of Defense, General Services Administration, Department of Energy and Department of Commerce.
He was co-founder, CEO and Chairman of Quantum Computing Inc. (NASDAQ: QUBT), an integrated photonics company. He also co-founded Fog Data Sciences, LLC, developing geo-location intelligence solutions for law enforcement and the U.S. Security and Intelligence Community. At The Coca-Cola Company, Liscouski served as Director of Information Assurance.
The company previously announced its intention to continue developing its pancreatic cancer screening business in the U.S. while evaluating opportunities to sell its colorectal cancer screening assets and winding down its German subsidiary.
Current Chairman David Lazar said Liscouski is "a seasoned global executive, a proven technology leader and security expert with over 35 years of experience spanning both the public and private sectors."
