Medical Properties Trust (MPW) Misses Q2 EPS by 29c

Medical Properties Trust (NYSE: MPW) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.07), $0.29 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.22. Revenue for the quarter came in at $337.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $345 million.

The Company is narrowing its 2023 calendar estimate of per share net income to $0.33 to $0.37 to account for second quarter results and is also narrowing its estimate of per share NFFO to $1.53 to $1.57.
