Investing.com -- Tech stocks weighed on the major indexes after Microsoft forecast slowing revenue growth. Here are the midday movers for Jan. 25.
- Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) shares fell 0.5% after the software and PC giant provided better than expected profit but said revenue growth in its cloud services business slowed in the December quarter and was expected to slow in the current quarter.
- Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) shares dipped 0.6% as the electric vehicle maker prepares to report earnings later today. Fellow EV maker Fisker Inc (NYSE: FSR) shares fell 4.4% after Morgan Stanley cut the stock to sell from hold, citing competitive pressures after Tesla cut prices on some of its model cars.
Boeing Co (NYSE: BA) stock was flat after the aerospace giant reported a surprise $1.75 loss for the quarter and fourth quarter sales of $20 billion.
- AT&T Inc (NYSE: T) shares rose 6% after the telecommunications firm reported stronger-than-expected gains in wireless subscribers for the recent quarter.
Intuitive Surgical Inc (NASDAQ: ISRG) shares fell 4.6% after fourth-quarter profit and revenue failed to meet expectations, citing challenges after COVID-19 restrictions in China affected the number of procedures being done.
