El Pollo Loco (NASDAQ: LOCO) reported Q2 EPS of $0.21, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $124.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $125.22 million.

The company is providing the following expectations for 2022:

• The opening of three to six new company-owned restaurants and six to ten new franchised restaurants.
• Capital spend of $20.0 - $25.0 million
• Pro forma income tax rate of 26.5%.
