3M Co. (MMM) Tops Q2 EPS by 5c; Lowers Outlook

3M Co. (NYSE: MMM) reported Q2 EPS of $2.48, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $2.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $8.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $8.6 billion.

GUIDANCE:

3M Co. sees Q3 2022 EPS of $10.30-$10.80, versus prior of $10.75-$11.25 and the consensus of $10.60. 3M updated its full-year sales and earnings expectations to reflect the impact of the strong U.S. dollar along with the current uncertain macroeconomic environment.
