BuzzFeed (BZFD) Misses Q1 EPS by 12c, Offers Outlook

BuzzFeed (NASDAQ: BZFD) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.33), $0.12 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.21). Revenue for the quarter came in at $91.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $94.46 million.

For the second quarter of 2022:

• We expect overall revenues to grow by a low 20s percentage year-over-year
• We expect Adjusted EBITDA in the range of $2 to $7 million

Additionally, we expect stock-based compensation expenses in the range of $11 to $13 million
