Eaton (ETN) Tops Q3 EPS by 2c, Bumps Outlook

Eaton (NYSE: ETN) reported Q3 EPS of $1.45, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $1.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.48 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Eaton sees Q4 2018 EPS of $1.38-$1.48, versus the consensus of $1.44.

Eaton sees FY2018 EPS of $5.30-$5.40, or $5.35 at the midpoint up $0.05 from prior guidance. The consensus of $5.36.
