Urban Outfitters (URBN) Tops Q2 EPS by 7c

Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ: URBN) reported Q2 EPS of $0.84, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.77. Revenue for the quarter came in at $992.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $979.94 million.

By brand, comparable Retail segment net sales increased 17% at Free People, 15% at Urban Outfitters and 11% at the Anthropologie Group. Wholesale segment net sales increased 10%.
