Tactile Systems Technology, Inc. (TCMD) Tops Q1 EPS by 5c; Raises Outlook

Tactile Systems Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: TCMD) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.09), $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.14). Revenue for the quarter came in at $19.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $16.17 million.

  • Revenue increased 45% year-over-year, to $19.9 million, compared to $13.7 million in first quarter 2016. - Flexitouch® revenue increased 50% year-over-year, to $17.5 million, compared to $11.7 million in first quarter 2016. - Revenue from sales of the Company’s Entré™ and ACTitouch® systems increased 17% year-over-year, to $2.3 million, from $2.0 million in first quarter 2016.
  • Operating loss of $2.9 million, compared to an operating loss of $1.8 million in first quarter 2016.
  • Net loss of $1.5 million, compared to a net loss of $1.0 million in first quarter 2016.
  • Adjusted EBITDA of $(1.7) million, compared to adjusted EBITDA of $(1.5) million in first quarter 2016.

For 2017, the Company expects revenue in the range of $103 million to $105 million, representing growth of 22% to 24% year-over-year, compared to revenue of $84.5 million in 2016. This compares to the Company’s prior revenue guidance range of $101 million to $103 million.
