Ambarella (AMBA) Tops Q4 EPS by 18c; Guides Q1 Revs Below Views

Ambarella (NASDAQ: AMBA) reported Q4 EPS of $0.92, $0.18 better than the analyst estimate of $0.74. Revenue for the quarter came in at $87.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $86.07 million.

GUIDANCE:

• Ambarella sees Q1 2018 revenue of $62.5-64.5 million, versus the consensus of $69.61 million.
• Gross margin on a non-GAAP basis is expected to be between 63.0% and 64.5%
• Operating expenses on a non-GAAP basis are expected to be between $26.0 million and $27.5 million
