Amgen (AMGN) Tops Q3 EPS by 23c

Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN) reported Q3 EPS of $3.02, $0.23 better than the analyst estimate of $2.79. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.73 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Amgen sees FY2016 EPS of $11.40-$11.55, versus prior guidance of $11.10-$11.40 and the consensus of $11.36. Amgen sees FY2016 revenue of $22.6-22.8 billion, versus the consensus of $22.77 billion.
