Varian Medical Systems (VAR) Tops Q3 EPS by 5c, Updates FY EPS Guidance

Varian Medical Systems (NYSE: VAR) reported Q3 EPS of $1.22, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $1.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $789.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $779.98 million.

GUIDANCE:

Varian Medical Systems sees FY2016 EPS of $4.62-$4.66, versus prior guidance of $4.55-$4.65 and the consensus of $4.58.
