Synopsys (SNPS) Tops Q2 EPS by 2c, Offers Q3 & FY Guidance

Synopsys (NASDAQ: SNPS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.81, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.79. Revenue for the quarter came in at $605 million versus the consensus estimate of $601.97 million.

GUIDANCE:

Synopsys sees Q3 2016 EPS of $0.72-$0.75, versus the consensus of $0.75. Synopsys sees Q3 2016 revenue of $595-610 million, versus the consensus of $598.36 million.

Synopsys sees FY2016 EPS of $2.95-$3.00, versus the consensus of $2.98. Synopsys sees FY2016 revenue of $2.36-2.4 billion, versus the consensus of $2.38 billion.
