UnitedHealth Group (UNH) Tops Q1 EPS by 9c; Boosts FY16 Outlook

UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) reported Q1 EPS of $1.81, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $1.72. Revenue for the quarter came in at $44.5 billion versus the consensus estimate of $43.96 billion.

GUIDANCE:

UnitedHealth Group sees FY2016 EPS of $7.75-$7.95, versus the consensus of $7.73. UnitedHealth Group sees FY2016 revenue of $182 million, versus the consensus of $181.4 million.
