Genon Energy (GEN) Tops Q2 EPS by 5c, Raises FY Guidance

Genon Energy (NYSE: GEN) reported Q2 EPS of $0.14, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.41 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.43 billion.

Genon Energy sees FY2015 EPS of $0.34-$0.39, versus prior guidance of $0.29-$0.34 and the consensus of $0.31.
