Trillium Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: TRIL) 191% HIGHER; Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) and Trillium Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: TRIL) today announced that the companies have entered into a definitive agreement under which Pfizer will acquire Trillium, a clinical stage immuno-oncology company developing innovative therapies for the treatment of cancer. Under the terms of the agreement, Pfizer will acquire all outstanding shares of Trillium not already owned by Pfizer for an implied equity value of $2.26 billion, or $18.50 per share, in cash.

Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: XERS) 29% HIGHER; announced that its supplemental new drug application (sNDA) of Gvoke® Kit was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of severe hypoglycemia in pediatric and adult patients with diabetes ages 2 years and above. Gvoke Kit will be available as a 1 mg/0.2 mL single dose vial and syringe kit. Gvoke Kit contains one (1) single-dose sterile syringe with markings for 0.1 mL (0.5 mg pediatric dose) and 0.2 mL (1 mg adult dose), and one single-dose vial containing 0.2 mL of solution. With this FDA approval, Xeris will begin manufacturing scale up immediately, and therefore anticipates Gvoke Kit availability early in the first quarter of 2022.

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: AXSM) 18% HIGHER; announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) informed the Company in a teleconference on August 20, 2021, that its review of the new drug application (NDA) for AXS-05 for the treatment of major depressive disorder would not be completed by the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) target action date of August 22, 2021. The FDA did not request additional information from the Company, and the review of the application is ongoing.

Landmark Infrastructure Partners LP (NASDAQ: LMRK) 14.9% HIGHER; announced that, following lengthy negotiations between the Conflicts Committee of the Board of Directors of Landmark Infrastructure Partners GP LLC and the Partnerships sponsor, Landmark Dividend LLC, the Partnership and LD have entered into a definitive agreement under which the Partnership will be acquired by LD.

BioNTech SE (NASDAQ: BNTX) 6.9% HIGHER; gains ahead of full FDA approval for it and Pfizer's (NYSE: PFE) COVID-19 vaccine.

Dynavax Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: DVAX) 5.6% HIGHER; Medigen Vaccine Biologics Corporation (MVC) (TPEx: 6547.TWO) and Dynavax Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: DVAX), a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing novel vaccines, today announced the rollout of its COVID-19 vaccine, MVC-COV1901. Approximately 600,000 people are anticipated to receive the Medigen vaccine this week.

Xilinx (NASDAQ: XLNX) 5.4% HIGHER; gained after Analog Devices and Maxim Integrated announced China antitrust clearance for its merger. XLNX has a pending merger with AMD.

Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: MXIM) 4.9% HIGHER; Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI) and Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: MXIM) announced China antitrust clearance for its merger.

MicroStrategy Incorporated (NASDAQ: MSTR) 4.5% HIGHER; bitcoin reclaims $50,000

Lyft (NASDAQ: LYFT) 3.9% LOWER; a California judge ruled Proposition 22 as unconstitutional.

Robinhood Markets, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOOD) 3.5% HIGHER; Wall Street initiates coverage with mixed views

Uber (NYSE: UBER) 3% LOWER; a California judge ruled Proposition 22 as unconstitutional.

Coinbase Global, Inc. (NASDAQ: COIN) 3% HIGHER; bitcoin reclaims $50,000

JD.com (NASDAQ: JD) 2.6% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of RMB2.90, RMB0.55 better than the analyst estimate of RMB2.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at RMB253.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of RMB249.7 billion.

B&G Foods, Inc. (NYSE: BGS) 2.3% LOWER; announced today that it has filed a prospectus supplement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under which it may offer and sell up to 7,500,000 shares of its common stock from time to time through an “at-the-market” (ATM) equity offering program. The timing and amount of any sales will be determined by a variety of factors considered by B&G Foods.

NextGen Acquisition Corp. II (NASDAQ: NGCA) 2% HIGHER; Virgin Orbit, the responsive launch and space solutions company, through its parent company Vieco USA, Inc. and NextGen Acquisition Corp. II (NASDAQ: NGCA), a special purpose acquisition company, announced today that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement under which Virgin Orbit will become a publicly-traded company.

Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI) 1.8% HIGHER; Analog Devices and Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: MXIM) announced China antitrust clearance for its merger.
