DUBAI (Reuters) - A preliminary report by Iran's military said no evidence of foul play or attack had been found so far during investigations into the helicopter crash that killed President Ebrahim Raisi, state media reported on Friday.
Raisi, a hardliner who had been seen as a potential successor to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed when his helicopter came down in poor weather in mountains near the Azerbaijan border on Monday.

(Reuters) - President Volodymyr Zelenskiy visited Ukraine's northeastern city of Kharkiv on Friday as it faces intensified Russian air attacks amid an offensive push by Moscow's forces into the north of the surrounding region.

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Hundreds are feared dead after a massive landslide levelled dozens of homes and buried families alive in a remote village in northern Papua New Guinea early on Friday, a resident said.

LONDON (Reuters) - Two men will go on trial next year charged with planning to attack and kill members of the Jewish community and others with automatic weapons in northwest England, a London court heard on Friday.
