TORONTO (Reuters) - A self-proclaimed Canadian "Crypto King" and an associate who received more than C$40 million ($29.4 million) from investors have been arrested and charged with fraud, police said on Wednesday.
Aiden Pleterski, 25, was charged with fraud over C$5,000 and laundering the proceeds of crime on May 2, Durham Regional Police said in a statement. Pleterski's associate, Colin Murphy, 27, was also charged... (continue reading...)
(Reuters) - Telecom giant AT&T has entered an agreement with AST SpaceMobile to provide a space-based broadband network direct to cell phones, the companies said on Wednesday.
Shares of AST SpaceMobile shot up nearly 49% in extended trading.

(Reuters) - Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway on Wednesday revealed a new, $6.72 billion stake in the insurer Chubb, ending months of speculation that it had made a big new investment.
In a regulatory filing describing its U.S.-listed stock holdings as of March 31, Berkshire said it owned 25.92 million shares of Chubb.

BELGRADE (Reuters) - The Serbian authorities and Jared Kushner's U.S.-based investment firm Affinity Global Development, signed a 99-year lease deal on Wednesday, allowing the company to overhaul two buildings which housed the headquarters of the former Yugoslav People's Army.

CAIRO (Reuters) - Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh blamed Israel on Wednesday for a deadlock in Gaza ceasefire negotiations and reiterated key demands including that any agreement provide a framework for a permanent end to Israel's offensive in the enclave.
Earlier this month, the Palestinian group said it agreed to a truce proposal from Qatari and Egyptian mediators that Israel previously accepted.
