(Reuters) - Warner Bros Discovery missed Wall Street estimates for first-quarter revenue on Thursday, weighed down by a weak advertising market and strike-related delays at its studio segment.
The company reported revenue of $9.96 billion for the three months ended March, compared with analysts' average estimate of$10.23 billion, according to LSEG data.

(Reuters) - Italian premium brake maker Brembo posted on Thursday an 8.5% yearly increase in first-quarter operating profit as revenues grew to a record 1 billion euros in the quarter.
Brembo's January-March operating profit (EBIT) stood at 112.8 million euros ($121.06 million), while its net profit marginally decreased to 75.2 million euros from 76.8 million euros.

LONDON (Reuters) -Chinese automaker BYD will consider building a second assembly plant in Europe in 2025, its European managing director Michael Shu said on Thursday.
Shu said BYD wanted to become a leading electric vehicle maker in Europe by 2030.
"We are confident that we could be in a leading position by 2030," he told the FT's Future of the Car conference.

LONDON (Reuters) - Foreign Secretary David Cameron described Britain's system and scale of arms exports to Israel as completely different from those in the United States, saying the sales it licences were relatively small and policed by strict procedures.
