COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Sweden's Ericsson said on Monday that a four-year programme to monitor the company's compliance with a U.S. anti-corruption agreement had ended on June 2.

The appointment in 2020 of an independent monitor followed a settlement the previous year with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to resolve a probe into alleged corruption by the company in China, Vietnam, and Djibouti.

ISTANBUL (Reuters) -Turkish annual consumer price inflation reached 75.45% in May, a bit above expectations, according to official data on Monday, in what is expected to be the high water mark before a series of rate hikes and relative lira stability bring relief.

The consumer price index rise was driven by strong advances in education, housing and restaurant prices last month.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - An Israeli who went missing during the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas-led Palestinian gunmen and was presumed to have been taken hostage has been found dead in the border village where he lived, Israeli media said on Monday.

After what it described as lengthy forensics, Israel's military confirmed the identification of the remains of Dolev Yehoud, whose surname has also been spelled Yehud in English.

PARIS (Reuters) - France won't change its fiscal policy, Prime Minister Gabriel Attal said as his government looked set to face two new no-confidence motions in parliament on Monday after one of the main credit agencies cut its rating of the country's debt.
