KYIV (Reuters) - Ukraine's parliament voted on Thursday to dismiss Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, who has overseen the wartime reconstruction effort and championed efforts to set up a vital Black Sea shipping lane, lawmakers said.
Kubrakov also helped ensure key logistical routes for millions of people fleeing the fighting early in the war after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

DAKAR (Reuters) - Flights have been suspended at Senegal's main airport near the capital Dakar after a plane skidded off the runway, a source at Blaise Diagne airport told Reuters.
The source did not give further details. A night-time video shared on social media that Reuters was not immediately able to verify showed a plane off a runway in grass with a wing covered in fire-suppressing foam.

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's opposition Labour Party has increased its poll lead over Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's Conservatives to stand 30 points ahead, according to a YouGov poll for the Times newspaper.
The poll, coming ahead of an election later this year, put Labour on 48% and the ruling Conservatives on 18%, the worst reading for Sunak since he became prime minister 18 months ago, according to the Times.

KYIV (Reuters) - Ukraine's parliament has dismissed Agriculture Minister Mykola Solsky who tendered his resignation in late April as he faces an investigation into alleged involvement in illegal acquisition of state-owned land, Ukrainian lawmaker Yaroslav Zheleznyak said on Telegram.
Solsky, 44, has denied the allegations.

BEIRUT (Reuters) - An Israeli air strike on a car in southern Lebanon killed four people on Thursday, according to Lebanon's civil defence, with security sources saying those killed were members of armed group Hezbollah.
